NFTs, or Non-Fungible Tokens, are unique digital items that represent ownership or provenance of a digital object or file. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, each NFT is distinct and cannot be exchanged equivalently with another NFT. They are used to authenticate digital artworks, game collections, videos, GIFs, and other digital content. This allows creators and collectors to prove the authenticity and rarity of their digital assets.

NFTs
(Non Fungible Token)

NFTs were first introduced in 2012 with the creation of the Colored Coins protocol on the Bitcoin blockchain. However, their popularity really exploded in 2017 with the emergence of the CryptoKitties platform, where users could buy, sell, and trade unique virtual cats.

Since then, NFTs have gained popularity in various domains such as digital art, gaming, music, and even virtual real estate. In 2021, NFTs reached record levels of media attention and transactions, making them one of the most discussed topics in the blockchain space and digital culture.

With the Bear Market of 2022/2023, most NFT collections lost significant value. Many other collections were created during the NFT hype and are now worthless. However, the utility side of NFTs remains, and there is reason to believe that this format of digital object has a bright future ahead, beyond the purely artistic or collector aspect of certain collections, particularly in the world of video games, and many other domains.

Historic

NFTs in video

The YouTuber Hasheur, a specialist in the field of cryptocurrencies for years, has made several videos on the subject, including one at the end of the BullRun 2021, which still remains relevant two years later.

In 2023, the three largest NFT collections - those with the highest trading volumes - remain: CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (all three on the Ethereum blockchain).

My NFT collections

I discovered NFTs shortly after becoming interested in crypto, and I subsequently created a few collections, each with a different goal and purpose.

Some are purely artistic, others for my enjoyment, and others with a certain utility. The latter case of NFTs (those with 'utility') is what I find most interesting in the NFT space. All of my NFT collections are for sale (except one) on OpenSea.

Here are my different collections:

Fun Educator

Fun Educator goes far beyond a simple NFT collection.

With an educational purpose, Fun Educator aims to gather various knowledge and turn it into physical cards with a certain aesthetic. These cards can be collected and used to learn or review knowledge in various domains (chemical elements, animals, alphabets, professions, etc.).

For each card, there will be an equivalent NFT, which will grant access to the Play-to-Earn (P2E) section of the Fun Educator website, allowing players to engage in games (card games, dice games, or board games) and potentially win cryptocurrency rewards.

Move Guys!

Move Guys is a unique NFT collection that brings together the worlds of art, animation, and blockchain.

I teamed up with my son to create this collection, which consists of 50 adorable animal characters, characters, and fantastical creatures. The collection is divided into 2 parts: hand-drawn illustrations (with background) and drawings enhanced by AI.

The spirit of the project is to encourage people to be creative, move, and follow their passions to create something tangible, whether it's in drawing, music, sports, or any other field.

Proverbes NFT

A selection of the best proverbs recorded forever on the blockchain, to inspire future generations.

Passionate about proverbs, sayings, and adages since I was young, I have sorted through the most relevant ones and turned them into illustrations in NFT format, for the benefit of all.

Péo's world

The Péo' World collection - as the name suggests - brings together several of my infographics and illustrations.

On the Polygon blockchain to minimize transaction fees, the NFTs in this collection are priced between 1 and 1000 MATIC. The sales will help support me in my projects. It's a way to support me beyond just making a simple donation.

The collection is available on OpenSea and will be updated from time to time with new NFTs.

Vavrezine NFT

This collection is the latest and is still in progress.

It includes several illustrations of the "Vavrezine" concept; the definitions of the different terms in limited editions, the covers of each musical piece, and the designs of the clothing line.

By acquiring a Vavrezine NFT, you will be among the few who were present at the early stages of this movement.
Additionally, the number of NFTs will be limited to 100, each one unique.

Finally, each holder will receive clothing and goodies from the Vavrezine collection after holding their NFT for a year.

mon fils, ma bataille

This NFT collection is not for sale.

It's simply an album of photos of my son, edited and forever recorded on the blockchain, to keep memories for me, for him, for family and friends, and perhaps for his children and grandchildren...

Also, I've used these NFTs to create a virtual museum (with the help of the website oncyber.io) that you can visit:
